Gusto Farm To Street is a fast casual pizza and salad company that prides itself on "healthy, hearty meals, made with ingredients straight from the farm" (Gusto, 2020, www.eatgusto.com/our-story). The farm, or more specifically the barn, as a concept is the driving design impetus for the Gusto projects. Tectum panels, both representing hay bales and providing excellent sound dampening qualities, line the walls and are 'held in place' with timber framing. Red corrugated metal panels form the signage bands. m | m a s o n has worked with Gusto on four projects: Holly Park in Raleigh, NC; Southpark Mall in Charlotte, NC; Field of Commonwealth in Chantilly, VA; and Research Triangle Park in Durham, NC (pictured above).
The work represented herein was performed under the leadership and direction of Michael Mason as Studio Director while in the employ of HapstakDemetriou+ PLLC.
